CEE and EMAP at the NIST ITSAC Conference (27-29 Sept 2010: Baltimore, MD)

Greetings,

Join us for the 6th Annual IT Security Automation Conference (ITSAC) to be held
September 27 - 29, 2010 at the Baltimore Convention Center, located in downtown
Baltimore, MD.  

This conference will provide a common understanding for using specific open
standards and new security technologies across various domains of interest.

There will be a presentation on Monday, 27 September on both CEE and NIST EMAP
(Event Management Automation Protocol). Additionally, there will be an entire
workshop dedicated to EMAP-related specifications on Wednesday.

Highlights in this year's event include:
.     Keynote Address by Howard Schmidt, White House Cybersecurity Coordinator
.     USGCB and FDCC initiatives
.     Cloud Computing and security automation
.     Continuous Monitoring
.     Event Management using standard specifications

.     Over 30 vendors demonstrating security automation capabilities available
today

A full range of tutorials and workshops will be conducted by government and
private sector experts regarding technologies and initiatives applicable to all
organizations concerned about information security.  The 3-day event includes
tutorials, tracks, workshops, and vendor expo.

This event is hosted by the National Institute of Standards and Technology
(NIST), National Security Agency (NSA), Defense Information Systems Agency
(DISA), and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), with considerable
participation and support from private sector partners and subject matter
experts.
