FW: Adobe Flash definition detection Issue

Love, Samantha

Good afternoon,

Is anyone else having an issue with Adobe Oval defs? This is the second time this year our scanners have reported a large number of Adobe false positives. Can the MITRE team please take a look at the latest Adobe definitions?

Thanks,

Samantha Love

It seems we may have the same issue we had months ago with a Adobe Oval Definition;

We are Currently patched for Adobe 18.0.0.209, Scanners are picking up 94 out of 102 servers and over 1500 Workstations vulnerable for Adobe Flash 17 From March. Which is impossible. I have manually checked over 30 servers and they have the latest Adobe installed. Also as you know we have updated Adobe 2 more higher versions  since then.

Release date: March 12, 2015

Last Updated: April 15, 2015

Vulnerability identifier: APSB15-05

·    Users of the Adobe Flash Player desktop runtime for Windows and Macintosh should update to Adobe Flash Player 17.0.0.134.
